  • Association of Social Anthropologists of the UK and Commonwealth (ASA)  The ASA was founded in 1946 to promote the study and teaching of social anthropology, to present the interests of social anthropology and to maintain its professional status
  • Australian Anthropological Society The Australian Anthropological Society represents the anthropologists of Australia. The goals of the Society are to promote the advancement of anthropology as a professional discipline grounded in the systematic pursuit of knowledge, to promote its responsible use in the service of humankind, and to promote professional training and practice in anthropology.
  • British Forum for Ethnomusicology The British Forum for Ethnomusicology is an association devoted to the study of music and dance from all parts of the world. Interested as much in the people making music as the sound structures that are produced, British ethnomusicology draws from anthropology and the social sciences, as well as the arts and humanities.
  • Canadian Anthropology Society The Canadian Anthropology Society is a bilingual organization operating at a national level.

  • International Association of Southeast European Anthropologists (In ASEA) The International Association for Southeast European Anthropology-In ASEA   is the successor of the first international association for the anthropology of Southeast Europe. ASEA was established at its founding conference in Sofia in 2000. The Association is an interdisciplinary organization of scholars studying present and past social and cultural processes manifest in the practices and beliefs of the people of south-eastern Europe.
